In this policy, “we”, “us” or “our” refers to Northern Eagle Energy the operator of this website.
We’re committed to protecting your personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy outlines how we collect, use, store, and share your personal information.
This policy may be updated as our business, technologies or laws change. The version published here is always the most current.
1. What we collect
We collect personal information across four main categories:
Contact details: such as your name, email, address or phone number.
Click trails: data about how you use and navigate the site (usually linked to an IP address).
Activity history: records of purchases, enquiries, and interactions with us (including offline).
Publishable content: anything you submit to be publicly shown on our site (e.g. comments or testimonials).
Note: We don’t store your full credit card information. Payments are handled securely via a third-party gateway. We may retain limited info like expiry date and last few digits for verification or expiry reminders.
2. How we collect it
We collect data in the following ways:

4. When we share it

We also use Google Analytics, which may collect information about how visitors use our website. 5. Content you share publicly
If you submit something for publication (like a comment, testimonial, or forum post), you:

You’ll only receive marketing communications if you’ve opted in.

8. Keeping your information secure
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal data. Measures include:

However, no method of data transfer online is 100% secure. You provide information to us at your own risk.
You’re also responsible for keeping your own login details (like usernames or passwords) private and secure. We can’t be responsible for unauthorised use of your account or credit card due to lost or shared credentials.
We’re not responsible for how third-party platforms handle your information. Always check their privacy policies if you leave our site.
